Monkey Snacks Fans ask the best questions! We could expound all day long about our snacks, but are sure to miss many marks if we don't pay attention to what concerns and interests YOU! We try to answer questions as they are asked, so if you have one you don't see here make sure you scroll below and shoot it to us!
Most questions here will focus on our Grateful Granola and Chef Rev Spices offerings.
P.S. Even though we do our best to bring you the "healthiest" snacks, this does not make us nutritionists nor certified in any way to give out any health or medical advice. We're sure there are 100 rules somewhere, so please consider this caveat here: Monkey Snacks loves information and to share it with others. We know Monkey Snacks Fans have an abundance of common sense so will not mistake anything we say as expert health/medical advice. That said. . .
Why the name 'monkey?' Short Answer: Because we're both serious and silly! And somehow blending both helps us transcend picky!
Longer answer: Monkey Snacks was born out of concern for how our food is being manufactured today. You know: natural/artifical flavors + spices, "conventionally grown" and gmos etcetra, etcetera. To skinny it down, we wanted to create easy to eat "snacks" that are "clean" as can be and where as many ingredients as possible can be tracked down. After all, monkeys eat simply and seem to know where their food comes from! (Some of you might suspect we're Michael Pollen Fans.)
Long answer: You'll hear this a lot around here: Coming soon to a fascinating Monkey Snacks Snack Blog post soon!
Never heard of this product before. Where is it sold? When will you be spreading your distribution?
Longer answer: As you can see, in addition to being excellent snack crafters, we're also webmasters! Just kidding.
Long Answer for Internet Sales: Our website company has been listening to it's customer customer base and in the last few months has implemented many changes to its "store functions". We put a ton of work into our store before these changes and are now going back to figure out edits and implementation. For internet purchase interest please do email us. We do have store pages for your use.
Long Answer for Granola on the Ground: Also, we have to account for inventory and production! We always thought so, but now know that our product lines are very exclusive and can only be offered to serious buyers. As we say occasionally at the Snack Blog, our Grateful Granolas are the most popular but take an extra long time to craft, especially with only one granola elbow on board. So consider yourself a granola elitist now. The chances of us being offered widely in stores any time soon is very unlikely. We don't even have a "factory". Before 2018 we bet we do! Until then, we'll be sticking to our cozy (read: small) commercial kitchen, but keep your eyes peeled!
